I'm in the same cycle with getting out of debt and running them right back up. I have not closed any of my accounts but they are in the freezer, literally. I do plan to close them one by one eventually but for now, I'm happy with them in the freezer. Great video.

Sounds like you have a great plan!
Love your earrings in the vid!

The debt I have is federal stafford student loans not credit cards. I just recently got accepted into graduate school. I am debating whether I should attend or defer enrollment. It really is a catch 22 situation.

Any updates on the debt?
At first, I was with you on paying the Visa off first, but after thinking for a few minutes, I understand why the guy you mentioned said to pay down the lowest cards first, because you'll be able to finish paying those off quicker meaning one less card to worry about.
I think I'm going to pay off the card that charging me the most finance/cash withdrawal charges first. I guess in your case, it is the Visa.

Great Plan!!! I love Dave Ramsey also, however I believe the Higher debt needs to be eliminated first as well. Best wishes!!!

I've been doing this since July. I'm making great progress and on my last card. I also do the envelope system. I cut up all my cards right after reading the book. So much stress has been relieved.

@bellaboucles I believe that your stress has been reduced by cutting up the cards.
