the TGV can't bend like that in an crash : because all bogie in TGV are common between 2 wagon ... (in a classic train 2 wagon have 4 bogies : in TGV 2 wagon are on 3 bogies ! It's made for never bend in railways accidents)
In reality tgv just bend a little like a accordion but just a little :
When tgv was developped, it will be make like that for human security, TGV was one of safest trains in the world for that (with also programmed distortion of locomotive)
