I've heard a similar "theory" but never its source, that’s the problem with killing perpetrators, they take the truth to the grave with them, however if two reputable people close to Booth confirmed it I could go with it.

Either way I can't shed a tear for Lincoln, his actions warrant no sympathy, instead I'll save it for his victims, they number in the tens and hundreds of thousands, many of them were innocent.

Booth was hired by the elite and was told whatever worked to get him to kill Lincoln, Think what you want but thats reality.

What RonPaulHatesBlacks really meant to say, as he's previously stated on so many occasions is that , "Lincoln wasn't perfect by today's standard" or, "he was better than the alternative." This is the type of "honor" glorified only by the dishonorable, and therefore can't possibly speak for "We the People."

Justice was not served.It was the final tragedy in a war that was started not by Lincoln, but by two separate minded sections of the US.One that reaped what it sowed in surviving economically on the backs of thousands of kidnapped human beings.The other in arrogant greed by monopolizing industry.Lincoln's reconstruction would have bound up the wounds.That was the greatest tragedy of all.

Lincoln made the worst decision by any U.S. President in this nation's history. He abused the power of the office in trampling the U.S. Constitution by launching a war against his own people. It cost him his life so justice was served. Deo Vindice!

Greatest? I consider him the "first of the worst" Lincoln was a "Corporate Lawyer" with all the baggage that implies, using outrageous taxation he hoped to cheat southern farmers giving the spoils to his wealthy northern contributors.

Lincoln didn't free the slaves, in reality he enslaved us all, just like Dr. Frankenstein he also built a monster, one that quickly consumed the lives of 650,000 American's, this man destroyed our constitution, he was just another tyrant.

Greatest president and most honorable leader who ever lived. What an honor that he was an American and our president. A truly spiritual, unprejudiced and unbiased human being. A great loss to America and especially to the South with his death. Reconstruction would have been entirely different if he would have served out his term.
