omg. all of the iconography shown here depicts jesus as having blonde, strawberry blonde or ginger hair. its as though the church has airbrushed the jewish ancestry of christ from history.

i just realised that these are the images of christ that i have in my head from sunday school.wtf.

My fav Ave Maria, though this interpretation is a bit slow for my liking. I heard the Tallis Scholars singing it at about double the pace (as they said DeVictoria intended it) and was wowed but it's joy and beauty.
