    -which is just why they're making this robot SO much more CAREFUL than the typical human driver! In fact, a human would have to really TRY to cause an accident with one, which will be amply documented by the car's navigation system. Still, as automation increases, so does the danger associated with system failure. (See opening statement) I seriously LOVE the way it pays attention to CYCLISTS! (Some humans find it hilarious to throw things at cyclists or swerve towards them.) Great work, Google!

    9:17 You see pedestrians on the left starting to cross the street, yet, you enter the intersection with a left turn knowing well you are not going to clear it for a while. The oncoming straight through traffic having the right of way (well, one car in this case), was probably not delighted to have their way blocked for no reason.

    Can this car throw a smile and a sign of apology like we humans do to make up for lack of foresight?

    Or, can it recognize "Oops, i've flanked this one!" to begin with?
