The first part of a video series documenting my first attempts to make an Iroquois style lacrosse stick. I'm using hickory wood and experimenting with a steam tube set up and bending jigs. At the end of this video, you'll see my 2nd attempt at bending the head portion of the stick. More chapters to follow soon!

Strange, I guess I'm signed in under my alternate youtube account...it's showing me posting as CoachTomPasLax rather than Paleoaleo. Oh well....

I just got back inside after finishing my protype stick and throwing against my garage wall. This first stick has some problems but I'll fix those on the next stick I make. It was amazingly cool having finished this one. Can't wait to post more photos of the stringing job and a quick video of the finished stick and me throwing with it a few times. Got to have a beverage to celebrate! I've wanted to make one of these for about 30 years now. Finally got around to doing this....way cool!

@supermaucat Yea, that's how I bent it. That big tube thing is the steaming tube.
