  • I'm trying to decide between MSI GT780DXR and Asus G74SX. I was almost convinced to go with MSI because of better speakers, matte screen and slightly better graphics card, but today I got a mail from the dealer that he'd recommend the Asus because of lower malfuction risk of the Asus laptops, better cooling and higher quality of materials. So I'm back to square one, especially since in your review the MSI looks better for me ;)

  • @GZas Do you realize that we are ASUS and MSI dealers? ASUS does run a bit cooler, but that is only relative. Lower malfunction...not true. Higher quality materials...not true. Sounds like salesman hype to me.

  • @PowerNotebooks But why would they do that? Both laptops cost the same, so they shouldn't care which one I want to take.

  • @GZas Who is They?

  • so do the msi noisy? and do it heat enough to warm hands?

  • @Edouardrc666 No, neither would be true. The palm rest and keyboard areas stay comfortable and would not warm your hands no matter how cold they might be. It is also not noisy.

  • This is one of; if not the best review i have seen of these laptops.

  • I wish all of the gaming laptop review are like this one. This is just thorough and outstanding to say the least. Keep it up!

  • @PowerNotebooks Actually I'm from Poland, so it's a Polish store. But I've met with the same opinion from other sources too

  • While I am looking for a laptop that will play games easily (I won't be playing often but I don't want to run into any issues when I do), the thing I do the most on my computer is listen to music. So in that case, this review has me convinced that I should go with MSI. The shallow part of me doesn't care for all the curves around the corners of it, though. But I think I can live with that particular dislike.

  • asus!

  • ASUS HAS MORE QUALITY AND EXPERIENCE THAN MSI AND DE 3D MARKS SCORE DEPENDS OF WHAT YOU HAVE RUNNING ON MEMORY OR INSTALED, IT LOOKS LIKE A TOY DE MSI COMPARED TO THE ASUS. JAJA
