0:20 I laughed so hard when I first heard that line. Literally about 20 minutes later I was crying. This movie is simply an excellent display of emotions of all kinds. :)

I don't know if I've ever cried so much in a movie...and I never cry, not even when I watch these gory horror movies. It's a beautiful movie that everyone needs to see. The children are excellent actors. My goodness. It sometimes scares me to know what humans have done to other humans :(

Even if this event was a long time ago, this is the single most effective film I have ever seen of this genre. It makes the viewer connect with the characters in the most emotional way, we must never forget it. If you are bored of hearing that message I urge you to look at your own life and think very carefully about what is really important to you. Is it family, is it friends, is it your home, your career. These people lost all of those things. Rose Bosch and the cast were truly amazing!

@nimrooo I know where you are coming from however "The Holocaust" was happening not that long ago. When you talk about genocides in the last 2000 years well............... people did not know any better. They were all mental cases who lived by the sword and died by the sword. The holocaust is recent in history, like Dumblane, Lockerbie. The list goes on.
