Bear at 200 kg, skin attacked my dad to show who`s the boss!

In Norwegian language, recorded in Norway.
My dad was out tracking a bear with a dog when the bear and my dad crossed paths. the bear didnt know my dad was sitting and filming so it got scared and felt pinched and therefore did a so called skin attack and ran away, leaving some claw marks on a tree. but still a awesome experience for my dad. the hole thing was filmed in Norway, Rendalen. 230 km north of Oslo.

did the bear really charge that fast? from the video,the bear was still quite far away from the camera,but suddenly it went wrong..

nah the video lies a little. my dad puts down the camera pretty fast but i guess the bear didnt need more then 2 seconds to run 5-10m :)

man your dad sure is lucky, i dont know much about bears but why didnt the bear do more damage to your dad?

hey, I guess the bear was a bit scared when it noticed my dad suddenly so close to him so i guess the bear wanted to scare him and leave but if it hadnt been for that tree my dad jumped behind the story might be a bit different :) my dad says its his own fault but he also feel perfectly safe somehow. hes been in the forrest since ive lived and thats 27 years ago going strong :)

Hehe thanks. its great fun the potato cannons :) a bit quiet with the shooting right now but, what can i say.. im getting too old for that stuff? HAH! aint fooling nobody with that. time will show :D

Nej det är varken gråhund, Norsk älghund grå eller nowegian elkhound som några säger. Det är en Jämthund, en gammal svensk ras. Syns på den mer rektangulära kroppsformen och vita teckningarna kring nosen som inga gråhundar har. Men fin ändå...
