This video shows a short interview of Phil Lynott (solo artist at this time) and John James Sykes (playing with Whitesnake at this time) for the Music Box.

At a point, the reporter ask them if John and Phil are the unseparateble ones. Phil just smile and says: "Well, only girls separate us".

Phil Lynott played with Skid Row, Thin Lizzy, The Rockers, Grand Slam and others projects.

John Sykes came from Tygers of Pan Tang and played with Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake and Blue Murder.

I hope you enjoy it!

  • It was so damn sad when he died. He was so good at finding incredible guitarists that could do his songs justice.

  • Phil was a true original....A black Irish rock star. I think it's safe to say there will never be another....Thin Lizzy were a brilliant band.
