This is such an example of a tremolo which makes it possible to alternate the tempo in melody by keeping the "ami" fingers moving the same tempo all the time -only the thump makes accel. and rit. The piece is based on the famous poem "Guitar" by Federico Carcia Lorca

  • who made your guitar? it has a nice voice. tell me how is the volume. do you have to force it to be loud or is very sensative?

  • @MrArsenioOro It's not as sensitive as I'd want it to be. I like the sound of it anyway and hope it'll change to lighter playing when the time goes by. Sometimes it takes longer to make a guitar "ready" by playing it. My guitar is made by my friend Reino Vanhatalo (from the north of Finland), and the name of the instrument is "Ahma-guitar".

  • just me or your using your right hand pinky?

if so its the first time I see a classical guitar player use their picky for picking hehe, good job, also I hear a nice melody there but I think the tremolo is doing it a bit too much, hehe just my opinion, can you do romance with that tremolo effect? :D

  • @odanfre I am not using pinky - when I started playing in 1970, I used it, but after starting guitar lessons in the music school I learned away from using pinky. Stepan Rak is using it - he was my teacher and introduced many techniques where pinky is handy. I think that it's important to practice it in order to make the hand muscles developing in good balance - even if you wouldn't use it much at all. That's what I do, anyway. Thans for your interest and commenting.

  • Nice play... but how long is your fingers nails do you make it bit longer or still normal length ?

    THX

  • @barzoman2 My finger nails are actually shorter than most of classical guitarists due to my interest to 19th century guitar. Thanks for askin and sorry for answering soooo slooooow!

  • In the beginning you are using thumb and middle. It would be smoother I think if you alternated middle and index with the thumb. Also, are you doing the flamenco tremolo? Perhaps using the classical tremolo in the piece would give it more movement and flow? Or does the piece specifically say to use p,i,a,m,i ?

  • fail

  • Am I on a loser by attempting tremelo on my cheap Chinese with less width finger board than professional hand made job?

  • Do you have the pdf of the piece, or where can I get the scores?

  • why r the 2 top comments the same

  • excellent performance
