It seems more like no one knows really whats going on. Shure, most of the staff from FSS are laid off. But its more like mud-wrestling than negotiating between Hanbit & FSS referring to some posts in the official forum & articles.

Hate to flagship, love to Rivival team. There really got far ahead to Rivive the game. Cant wait till October (2009) comes and the new first patch will arrive. Hellgate isnt dead, its just resting and getting polished by people who knowns why some of us get left down.

Not really. Their stock value is dropping like a rock, they're losing staff on a daily basis, and they took down their auxiliary servers. I wouldn't call that "no end in sight."

Furthermore, they've already begun negotiations with HanbitSoft about selling the game.
