His rapping may leave something to be desired, but I still never quite understood why Rafa refused to play him. He had great talent, he may not have been the greatest tactitian but that would come with match experience which never came.
The problem Liverpool have at the moment, where they TRULY need to strengthen is wide men, Babel had great potential for that. Maybe a year out on loan would have done him good rather than let go of what was potentially a great prospect.
