@daffydaffy7 still i would not let them jump up and downit all the time my dog mini was a doxie but died of back probelms

I can't get my dachshund to bark! He barks on his terms lol. Most wouldn't complain about it, but I wish he didn't try to lick everybody who comes in the door. What if we have a robber or something!?!

nice dog! where do u get your dachshund puppies from? The dog store near u or from a breeder? Because im looking for a mini dachshund puppy and my dad says its best to get them from breeders and not dog stores because they tend to be too hyper from the stores and behave better from breeders. Plz reply to this and give me ur opinion on what I should do. I really want a dog, I had a mini dachshund a couple years ago and was bought from the dog store near us, but i don't have him anymore. any tips?

@VanessaMakesVideos I strongly recommend getting a dachshund from a dachshund rescue group in your area. Never, ever buy from a pet store.
