What is the purpose of the flamey thingy on the side cover? Your bike sounds like one of those hardly davisin motorcycles, is that what you wanted?

Real nice. Sounds like my baby!

i have also installed the pipes but i realised that my FI light didnt go off. What did i not do? one thing, i just let the 2 FI plug hang loose behind the side panel. Do i need to do anything?

I'm looking to getting a 900 and I really like the way this one sounds. Did it take long to install the pipes and how much were they?

@djc2232 hey i just got a set of these ordered for my 07 VN 900 custom and im just wondering how do you like them and how much additional HP gain do u get with these pipes if u do get any??

@airplane82 I dont know the exact numbers but the most notable gain in performance i noticed was right off the line 1st into 2nd and into 3rd. It is deffinately noticeable.

nothing at all, just the pipes. Nothing should be done to the EFI unless you install and aftermarket intake. Bike runs great with the new pipes, noticeable increase in power especially in the low end.
