@exsenpro Not at the moment, but I will look through my files . Don't hold you breath, for I am going through some eye surgery at present, so it will be a little while before i can see properly once more!

absolutely wonderfull. one thing though. from the video it was not clear where or how the compressed air either enters or exhausts the crankshaft end of the cylinder. lovely job.

I think you refer to my oscillating twin cylinder inline engine! This is a double acting design. i.e. the steam or compressed air delivers a power stroke in both directions of the piston travel, and the steam (air) goes to the cylinders via a reversing valve. This reverses the flow to provide operation in forward or reverse, but the steam or air always enters via the bent tube below the valve and exhausts through the vertical straight tube on top of the valve. Hi John, i am most impressed with your little engines and the ease with which you appear to make them. I am developing a keen interest in steam engines and once i have aquired a small lathe and mill i am going to have a go myself. I have seen many videos on youtube and have some great books on the subject. Your videos are inspirational. Are the finished products saleable. Can money be made from a well turned out engine?

@oochicooch Thanks, Nige - Your message needs a long reply! #1, after the work, unless you find a rich and enthusiastic collector, there is no money to be made! #2, you not only need a mill and lathe, but lots of accessories and tools; 4 jaw chucks, rotary tables, bits end mills, & most important, good measuring equipment: micrometers, dial or electronic calipers, dial indicators, dial test indicators, etc., And you must be very careful.
