The Republicans are lying about Solyndra. The program that awarded the Solyndra loan guarantee was created under the Bush administration. Republicans claim that the Bush administration "rejected" the loan guarantee for Solyndra, but that is a total lie. What they did was ask for more data. While the data was being gathered, Obama became president. Search for Solyndra at Energy.gov

I heard that the employees were not allowed to work that day and lost a days pay! Thanks to Obama!

@newalm yeah a majority of the employees had the day off without pay, but that was for security reasons. President Obama came to the plant because of how much the Federal government has invested in Solyndra. I heard that there was a lottery for the workers. So if you were lucky you got to go and see his speech live! It kind of sucks but on the other hand it is nice that Obama came out to the Bay Area. On a positive note, Solyndra will be giving jobs to many people!! :)
