Me sight reading God of Our Fathers at Case Brother in Spartanburg, SC. They are the local Allen Dealer. These were the only two organs they had on the floor at the current time..they had the C8 but it was unplugged at the time..please enjoy and forgive my mistakes.

  • Allen organs sound very "churchy" and make me want to

loosen my starched collar and slip off my shoes for relief.

Now a Hammond B3 or C3, they make me ready to

jump up, dance and shout, but I'm one of those Holy

Roller people, so consider the source.

You play well, but can't wait to hear when you play

by ear and get on a Hammond for some R&B Praise!

  • I love Allen organs!

  • @Thepianoorganist i think so, i played widor's toccata full 7 pages and he said it was fine too

  • Have you taken piano before organ or just started on the organ?

  • For only seven months, you actually played quite well for sight-reading. Were you familiar with that hymn, or was that the first time you had ever seen or heard it?

  • Great talent!

  • Wow--you did this with only 7 months of lessons--you have a real gift!

  • Excellent! Keep up the good work playing.

  • Nice Allen. I play and Allen and refuse to play anything else.

  • @AllenOrganCrazy I think you did a great job! I play myself and mostly self taught. Stay with an Allen unless you can play on a pipe organ. To me, Allen's are more true to sound than Rodgers.
