hi,
well i like to breed birds and specially goldfinches and canaries i have many questions to ask.
1-the canary should be the female?
2- why did you remove the male ? doesn't he feed her? or, he breaks the eggs?
3- the most important question: what r the steps to make them have sex?
thank you for sharing this video. i will be waiting for your upgrades . thx again.

you do know that it is illegal to have songbirds such as goldfinch as pets and to breed them with canarys. maybe your laws r diff from ours????

Hi Ireland; our law say, if you are in bird society breeding club, and you report your birds, and get licence, you can keep and breed wild birds legally!
Check out your law, maybe is same thing!

Yes, it's better, because goldfinch can be sometimes agressive to little mules, because he see that they are not little goldfinches! He even can throw them out from nest!
It's best thing to put male back, in moment when young tend to leave nest!
Goldfinch will feed them, and canary female start to make new nest.
And, trust me, female canary is completely safe and she knows how to raise her chicks, alone-without male
