NO YOU NOOB !!!

Only the modells with transversaly mounted engines (like A3, TT) have this 4-wheel system with haldex clutches and it's called 4MOTION from VW

A4,A5,A6... have longitudinally mounted engines and there is enough palce for the Quattro system with Torsn differential and this is a peramnently 4wheel drive system!!!

@insanity1984enemy that is not true. only a3 has haldex. and that system is actually more expensive than torsen based quattro. x drive is not better. google before writing crap

@HeavyweightThinker All these 4wd systems are a joke. Subaru is the only car company that has a real All-Wheel-Drive car. A Subaru Outback performs almost like an Land Cruiser. Too bad they don't make a diesel with an automatic.
