16 April 2011 A brief recap of the festivities at Criminal Records in Atlanta, Georgia. For more information about Record Store Day, visit http://recordstoreday.com. Support your local businesses!
Proud to say as a life long resident of ATL and a record collecter / dj / purchaser of tens of thousands of records that I have never bought a single record from Mr Levine's Criminal enterprise. From the beginning, he was a force for the gentrification and supported mis-guided attempts to 'clean-up' the area.
The fact is that there was already a record store on the block, the finest one in ATL,, one that didn't borrow money to 'expand and improve'. Good riddance.
