Quake 4 is essentially a more action packed version of Doom 3. Doom 3 focused more on story telling and atmosphere, two things that Quake 4 lacked. Both games are good for their own reasons, although overall Doom 3 is better in quality.

@Ransomnia you want better quality? upload it yourself. it was high quality when it was uploaded, but after two years it's obviously not going to look as good now isn't it? and back in 2010, 360p was high quality seeing as the concept of HD was still being introduced as a new kind of video format.

@legendarywar1 I don't understand this. They say that Doom 3 is the same thing of Quake 4, but hey are very different shooters. They are just in the same engine. Arent the shooters all similar ?

@Fabiolinks well, quake 4 and doom 3 are very similar. they both involve humans fighting aliens/monsters of a sort, and they're both set in the future. they also have similar gameplay and even the environments between the game are similar. even the stories are similar. quake 4 is pretty much just a less intense, less fun, and less interesting version of doom 3. i like it a lot, but that is pretty much what it is.

@sarminer that isn't the starcraft academy scream. that's the howie scream. it's a famous blood curdling screech that has been used in movies long before video games were created.
