The Phuket International Blues Rock Festival 2010 set a record in attendance and musicianship. Presented for the first time by THAI Airways International and hosted again by the Hilton Phuket Arcadia Beach Resort and Spa, the festival was officially opened by Phuket Vice Governor Smith Palawatwichai who gave a short speech on the importance of Blues and western music in Thailand .

The 2 night event saw many famous musicians 2 of whom we would like to show now performing on stage.

For the fifth year Rich Harper brought his brand of original and classic blues to delight the fans including this track 'Blue Eyed Blues'. Song by Rich Harper Blue Eyed Blues




Closing the show on the first night was one of Australia 's foremost pop/rock musicians, Richard Clapton with his marvelous band to delight the crowd singing Some Sunny Days Song Richard Clapton Some Sunny Day

The festival is an annual charity event and this year the organizer Andy Anderson presented a cheque for 50,000 baht to Phuket Has Been Good To Us Foundation in support of education for less fortunate local children focusing on quality English education. Another 50,000 baht was also presented to Rotary Club of Patong for local children in addition to numerous projects on the island. The organizer expects another record breaking Phuket International Blues Rock Festival in 2011.
