Debut video from Urusei Yatsura. Took me a while to upload it, but it's finally here. Once again, don't forget to listen to Projekt A-Ko!

  • love this! but there's no right side sound :(

  • @contextual You're right - never noticed that before! Must've been like that on the video. If I get time I'll sync up the audio from the 7" to the vid and reupload.

  • It seems like it's been slowed down quite a bit, for the video.

    AMAZING as usual, nonetheless!

It'd be AMAZING if UT got back together for a tour!

Either way, COME TO FRESNO CA!

  • It's the version that was released on vinyl before 'We Are...' came out... if you notice, Plastic Ashtray is also slightly different. The vinyl release of Kernel is an earlier recording too, but there's no video for that.

  • I miss urusei...I was listening to them while I gave my mum a lift once (10 years ago now...) and she said "it sounds like their guitars are broken". I just had to smile and say "they probably are".

  • @tobyisgreat they were :)

  • Love this song/band. Saw them once in The Hand and Spear pub next to Weybridge railway stn, Surrey. Fell in love with the bassist, the guys are cute too. Presently this is my wake up tune. Hits the mark with volume at #11

  • Soo glad you uplaoded this..I'd been telling people over the years about this great band I saw at the Hand and Spear pub in Weybridge Surrey many moons ago..fell in love with the bassist at first sight, then fell in love with the band, their attitude ,looks and sound. Had to text a mate in Czech to remind me of their name(-the amount of times I mis-youtubed it), then only found manga toons.Tho the band may have dissolved into the ether, my fond memory of them will last forever.PS, where's E now
