Ziggy, I mostly fish the upper Chesapeake Bay and the Ocean City, MD bay.

@mdsmith370 where did u get the tupperware? My Ocean Kayak has no hole in front but I see the molding like yours. How did you cut the hard oblong plastic? Please help.

@Fishrig Not sure what you mean by tupperware. Ocean Kayak makes hatch covers for all of their models. Just google Ocean Kayak Gaspachi Hatch and you will see mine. My hatch was already cut but you can easily cut yours out with a jigsaw with a plastic blade or with a dremel.

How stable is that kayak?Im looking to buy one soon.
baykayaker11 1 year ago
@baykayaker11 The Scrambler is a good mix of stability and speed at 29 inches wide. It can get a little tippy when moving around but I have never taken a dive. It's very stable in the sitting position. There are more stable kayaks out there but you sacrifice speed and maneuverability with width. I fish inshore mostly. I probably would have gone a little wider if I fished the ocean.
