REI member Andrew Eaton is thru-hiking the 2,180 mile Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine in 90 days. Andrew is part of Peaks for Peace, a group of outdoor enthusiasts that desire to blend their greatest passion with a powerful cause. This year they are raising money for The Childrens Hospital Colorado Burn Camp Program. Andrew is seeking donations for each mile that he hikes with all the proceeds going directly to help children attend the Burn Camp.

    yep. i did half the AT a couple years ago but i started in Maine and came south. did it in 59 days with and Osprey Atmos 58 and threw a lot of stuff away as i went. wound up with about 20% of my pack empty, so it's not inconceivable that he did it with a 44.
