Rachel talks to John about Iris, Tommy, and Hank, and admits that she wonders how Iris feels about Hank. Brett insists on getting her and Matt's coats so she can check out the closet space; that way if someone asks her to design an apartment, she'll be up on the latest amenities. As soon as Brett is out of Matt's sight, Donna practically pounces on him, saying she thought she'd never get him alone. Matt asks Donna what's wrong. Donna replies that Iris invited half of the co-op board there tonight and they're all looking at her like she doesn't belong there. Matt reminds her that she's not evicted yet, but Donna says she will be by next week, then hands Matt an accordion file with her financial records in it, including all of her expenses and information on her household staff. Matt tucks it into his jacket and promises to find out if there's anyone ripping Donna off, then asks her if she's ever thought about renting her apartment, because there are some head honchos for Ace Records in town from New York looking for a place to stay, and they would pay to stay at Donna's apartment--they would pay enough for Donna to pay off her maintenance fees. Donna is reluctant at first because of the priceless family heirlooms filling the apartment, and because she's fearful that Roger Jackson will find out. Matt tells her the Ace contingent won't embarrass her and asks her if she wants to keep her apartment, and who cares what Roger Jackson thinks? Donna tells Matt he's right; it's not worth her being kicked out on the street. Rachel approaches them and says this is a cheerful conversation. Donna lies that she was talking to Matthew about Dennis and Marley, and her fear that Dennis will hurt Marley by seducing her and tossing her aside like all the other women he's been with, and if Marley had just stayed with Jamie, everyone would be happy. Rachel asks what Matthew had to say to that, and Donna says that Matthew agreed with her. Matt says anything is possible. Meanwhile, Dennis and Marley are about to get it on in one of Iris's walk-in closets, which they have locked from the inside, but they get interrupted by Brett, who's looking for her and Matthew's coats. When she can't get the door to open, she says she was looking for the coat closet. Dennis says this one is taken and to try the one in the front hallway. Brett says she will and tells them to have a good time. After Brett leaves, Marley says this isn't her. Dennis tells her yes it is, and they go back to what they were doing. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.
