Here's the first look at Hornady's brand new AutoCharge electronic powder scale/dispenser. This unit features three user-selectable speeds and has calibration weights suitable to both low and high powder charges. The AutoCharge competes directly with the RCBS ChargeMaster, but is priced about $75 less, with an expected street price of about $300.00. Hornady hopes to start shipping units in April 2010.
Ok so when can I buy one HORNADY??????????

Natchez has the RCBS combo for $279, and there's a $50 rebate on top of that. Lots of inaccurate info in the video...

Doesn't the powder pan look the exact same as the chargemaster's? I bet they are both (actually 3 have enough features to be from the same place, RCBS, Hornady, and SmartReloader, just my guess) contracting with the same place in China. My questions is which one has a keyboard that doesn't go tits up. And which one has a display that isn't heat sensitive. I know RCBS fails on both accounts. One year warranty on such a suspect product isn't good.
