  • In my opinion, Mr. Michael B. Tretow is the fifth member of ABBA.

He was a fundamental piece in the sound and the quality develop of the group.

    Thanks for posting.

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS

dancing Queen is my favourite song and I though I'd hear the backing track/lost violin.

    THANK YOU

  • @Abbot63 yeh all the great bands owe their sucess to a few great beings behind the scenes

  • the drum groove is so funky!!

  • @Abbot63 your right there and the same for the session musicians they used made the whole package, never really got the credit maybe they should have had.Rutger Gunnarsson bass and string arangements on most of the studio work (mike watson also played on some tracks)rutger still works with the 2 lads..Ola Brunkert on drums gave the feel to the whole abba sound sadly he died in 2008 in a freak accident.there were a few other musicians that helped fill the sound.ola and rutger just class together:)

  • Give me MORE of this!!! I guess like a lot of musicians, they never REALLY even know how huge of a song they have when they make it......

  • No 2 women ever sounded as good as these 2 did. Their voices just blended together to make an awesome sound. They have come and gone from the music scene, but the music will live forever.

    thanks for posting.

  • does anyone have the full video of this?seen it on tv many years ago.music is not produced like this anymore its all use once and dump in the trash.the 4 members of abba all had their own input and had a lot to offer...but the session players they used like rutgar gunnersen on bass made the group in my view,

  • EPIC!

  • This guy is my hero after Benny Andersson but unlike George Martin, the average person in the street have no idea who he is.

  • That distinctive ABBA sound, those girls, the songcraft, the joy that wraps around it, all signifies something which defies words. Verbal expression fails to convey the meaning. It's a living consciousness - wonderous, surreal, and frightful.

ABBA endures, and their influence blooms, as it should be.

    Brilliant post 'wonderfulYou'.
