Over the years I have gotten tons of complaints where someone tried to tape off a tiny square and limit the touch up paint or primer to the tiny square. Once you remove the tape you see the lines, and it is not easy to salvage. Try limiting the tape lines to masking off adjacent panels. If you have to tape off a line mid panel try not to spray the paint right up to the tape edge. If there is a break in the body line you can sometimes get away with backtaping to soften the tapeline effect.
