Sehr gut gemacht!! Zusammen mit der Musik erinnert Spocks Stimme fast ein bisschen an Rammstein, finde ich ... oder an E Nomine ... Die "blood red skies" passen natürlich gut. :)

Wird Star Trek TOS noch irgendwo derzeit im deutschen TV ausgestrahlt? Die DVDs sind so schrecklich teuer... auch wenn mir die Englische Version lieber wäre...

Wer hätte gedacht, dass ich mal Trekkie werde... obsession ahead!

Nein, leider wird TOS zur Zeit nicht im im Free TV ausgestrahlt (soweit mir bekannt). Auf dem SciFi-Channel ist TOS gerade angelaufen, glaub ich. Teuer ist für die DVDs gar kein Ausdruck. Liegen zur Zeit ja etwa um die 60 Euronen oder so, ganz übel viel bei drei Staffeln :-( Englisch ist auf jeden Fall besser, weil die deutsche Ausgabe ja teilweise nachvertont wurde - und man hört es. Mich hat das Fieber schon vor Jahren gepackt, gibt auch kein Medikament dagegen ;-)

Yeah. In my opinion, Shatner was good at *acting*, but he wasn't a good *actor*. Like, he didn't know how to act naturally, but he still just embodies Kirk, he slides right into Kirk's persona perfectly. Sure, some training on how to act without being all over-the-top would've helped, but I still applaud him for what he did with the character of Kirk.

I was shocked when I first watched TOS. I was expecting a bunch of REALLY over the top, completely horrible stuff from Shatner, but he really surprised me. Sure, there are times he's melodramatic but the show itself had that tendency anyway.

Back in the day, Shatner could act pretty damn well.
