Arcade stick for Tatsunoko vs Capcom.

This is a modded Hori Fighting Stick with Sanwa buttons.

Was going to switch out the microswitches before I noticed they use the exact same Omron switches as a JLF.

Plays great with the import copy of TvC and also Virtual Console fighting games.

  • Better if getting the Mad Catz version and putting Sanwa parts in it. This one is pita to do while the Mad Catz version the parts just snap in.

  • i'm just gonna get the mad catz stick and throw in the buttons and JLF. i don't like having to solder anything.

  • Well I would hope so. The only reason I did all this was for the import game.

  • I later put a Sanwa JLF joystick in it.

But that is also has square gate, but can be replaced with a octagon gate. Personally I like the square gate better for street fighter games. There is no way in hell you could fit a circular HAPP stick in there though, it was hard enough dremeling down the jlf to fit.

  • Do you have to solder the buttons back on using wires or just solder them directly to the board.

  • You have to use short wires.

I was going to show that in the video but I messed up my first try so I ended up not taking pics the second time.

I bent the metal contacts flat on the Sanwa buttons to get them to fit in there.

Recently I put a Sanwa JLF joystick too.

  • All that work and you can just get a TVC madcatz stick and snap in Sanwa parts. Sucks but i know some people are Hori fans.

  • hey as of curiosity, out of all of the arcade sticks for the wii, which company stands out to be the best arcade stick out there?

  • What kind of ball top are you using? It looks sick.

  • ROLL!

  • W00t Roll FTW

  • Just a question, did you print the artwork on a normal sheet of paper?

  • Just got the Hori stick last week and have been as happy as a kid on christmas.

gonna order the parts soon, but here's a question; how did you stick on the replacement art? did you use special paper or something?

thanks for the vid, this is exactly what I was looking for!

  • How did you make that template? Did you just measure all the buttons and stuff? I'm wanna make a custom template for my stick...

  • nice stick man.
