All Anyone needs to do is look at who is funding the GOP! How can any middle class person think the bankers and CEO's that are pumping millions in to The GOP lie machine are doing it so you can make a living wage and improve your benefits.

@jrhd00d84 You're probably right. I'll tell you where the money goes. In 1950 2 % went to Social Security, Health Care. 3.6% went to Welfare. 54% went to Defense

today. 20 % goes to Social Security, 22% goes to Health Care, 24 % goes to defense. 15% goes to welfare. I'm not Republican but look at the number for Welfare spending increases over the past 60 years. Democrats 128.5% Republicans 520%. Check out my blog. @WireWerksTV because the government is the only thing standing in their way to make even more money and deprive even more people, and take away even more rights, and put our nation into more debt. And until we find some real true Americans that actually care about people and actually care about this nation we are going to fall. Unfortunately the real good ones don't have the words Republican or Democrat next to their names on the ballot.

@WireWerksTV and this idea that the government spends $14,000 per capita. HAHAHAHA. That is a joke. Ok Ok. Your right it does say that in the books. But I'm willing to bet that in 1950 that a large percentage of that 2700 per capita went to projects that actually helped the average person. Today that 14000 per capita a large percentage of it goes to the rich and very little goes to help the average person. Basically these people are getting rich off the debt of our nation.

These rich people have designed a system that helps them get richer and screws the rest of us. The sad truth is that a majority of the senate and house is for the banks. I'm willing to bet that 90% of Republicans and 35% of democrats are secretly against this country. They are in office because they had huge campaign contributions from wealthy people who are un-American.

Either way we paid $186 billion in interest in 2009. by 2015 we will be paying over half a trillion every year JUST in interest. So it does matter that Obama, Bush, Clinton, Reagan increased the the public debt during each of their terms. Obama is setting a record. In 1950 we spent $2,700/capita (infl adj). Today it spends over $14,000 per/capita. How come?
