  • y is it called an electric vehicle?

    batteries do not store electricity.

what is wrong with a small motor that the volt has to drive the car period

  • About your comment over 12 months ago. The Chevrolet Volt has now been released to the public. I have yet to test drive one but so far reviews have been a positive one.

  • "most families in this country have more than one vehicle" What country?

  • @DrunkenMcWasted Thank you.

  • @IFoundMyUsername There is a maintenance mode that runs the engine for a while if it hasn't been run for an extended period of time, so this is not an issue. Maintenance mode also keeps track of how long the car has had a particular tank of gas, so bad gas running through the engine won't be an issue either.

  • If the gas engine is never used, it will be a problem. Imagine your car parked one entire year.

I think Prius concept is better..

  • Chevy is really innovating their cars. I am really impressed. they've come a long way since the Cavalier!

  • Another piece of SH!T from GM!! If they had any balls they would bring back the EV-1. My best guess is it ain't gonna happen because big oil owns GM.
