In fall of 09 we launched Pathfinder on one Loki M-1882 and thought we were done with that rocket. But then we found a competition called the Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC).

The problem was it required Pathfinder II to fly 2,000 feet higher (10,000 feet) with 10 lbs more payload, and we already had the biggest motor we could put in it. So we strapped 2 more motors to the side and designated it II-X for the test launch.

On April 10, 2010, Pathfinder II-X ground started on a single Loki M-1882 and air-started 2 Loki L-1400's at burnout of the M. Everything was SUCCESSFUL and it landed about a half mile away and woke up a bull!! Pathfinder reached an altitude of 10,342 feet (342 feet over the target altitude) however we still have 3 lbs of payload to add, so watch out IREC!!!

Oh and did we mention, our rocket is signed by THE Homer H. Hickam!!!

**It launched in April, not March, that was a typo in the video.**
