  • @Pansit198 read my comment just before this one, I screwed up your name in the tag ~.~

  • @Panslt198 @MrWestonericscott actually, Sondheim wrote a book about all his writes and came to the conclusion that he considers it to be a dark operatic comedy (or something like that) he breaks down the pieces and such and how he'd like things to be portrayed, but yes it's supposed to be so ridiculous that it's comical (currently doing Sweeney Todd at my school) and the basic just of the plot is to show how revenge of love could change a person to do drastic things to fix such, watch the final

  • @MrWestonericscott wow didn't know is was supposed to be funny the movie is such a drama would never think of it as a funny play... good to know i guess

  • @MrWestonericscott hmmm. I disagree. I'm just not so sure its up to you to decide what Sweeney Todds about. Perhaps we should leave that to Sondheim.

  • 3:02 ...O_O

  • @bookjunkie31 The play is supposed to be funny, and musical theatre is inclined towards the use of melodrama. Tim Burton and his actors totally changed what this show was about.

  • For some reason, I love 4:30 - I just love the way Angela says it :)

  • @Broadwaypuppet lol i love it!

  • Lovett: You could say it was good luck for her!

    Todd: Aaahhhhhh

    Lovett: Almost.

    XD XD XD XD XD

  • I like the play and the movie, but definately the movie better. This version is too melodramatic and silly at times. Len carou was great though (I like johnny much better).
