short video that shows a cool trick with the korg zer 8 loop delay and channel filter.
when you take the fx 01 (loop delay) on the master fx. you can freeze eq/filteer movements.
to do this select one of the last three eq modes. on the channel you like.
then press hold on the master fx. press loop 2/1 and turn on the eq knobs hi and low. now it records the movement of the eq knobs for the selectet amount of time..
with this you can create nice overdubs :-)

sound comes from a elektron md uw pattern.just 2 samples for chords an synth used.
all other sounds are uw standard samples or machinedrum synthesis

  • hey, i dunno if this works on the zero4 on the kaoss pads it won't work.

    on the mixer with kaoss pad. you have to select the loop delay. at the same time you press the loop button(to make the loop active) you can turn the eq knobs and the movemt is saved to the looped part. with this you can build very interesting filter p-locks in the way of the md
