It's not pronounced "Luther" -- It's pronounced "LEW-thor", with the accent on the first syllable, and the second syllable pronounced as the name of the Norse god of thunder, Thor.

Oh no you don't.

There is already a name pronounced "LEW-ther", and it's "Luther" -- as in "Martin Luther". So you don't get to have two different names pronounced exactly the same -- that's why someone went to the trouble to spell them differently.

It's "LEW-thor", not "LEW-ther".

Whatever floats your boat, if its that big of a deal for you than its Luthor,...I really don't see what typing out a full paragraph of a comment to reiterate that proved for you but if you feel better for it, hope I could help

If they didn't revamp the line into Justice League Unlimited, this line would have been just like the Batman Beyond and Superman lines: only a few villians and many idiotic hero repaints.

What I don't get is how you could go for so long, being such a huge fan of super-heroes and all, and never once noticing -- or even caring, clearly, how Lex Luthor's name is pronounced!

I mean, it's not like he's some minor nobody in the annals of comics -- he's THE paragon of all super-villains!

And I realize that they mispronounced his name in the Christopher Reeve movies as "LuthER" -- *shaking head* -- but the bozos who direct and act in those movies aren't comic book fans -- you are!
