Very good video, im personally an Atheist and usually dont believe in these sort of stuff, but they made some valid points and im open minded to everything..

But my biggest problem with this is, Why should we be special?

i can't find a single reason why we should be... We are just animals, i see a human like a bunch of cells, noot a complete structure..

So can anyone answer me, why should we be special`?

This is an age old question everyone soon eventually asks; I too once wrestled with this long ago. We are Gods greatest creation; wonderfully and fearfully made in his image. Before the fall of man, God walked with man and God will walk with Man again in the end. This is His Plan.

One point that may help is to stop thinking of man as animals. We are much more & we have yet to realize our potential.

We are special in our own minds,we invented religion because unlike other animals we have a understanding of our mortality we invent a comfortable afterlife with good place to go and a bad place togo,to comfort our fears of death,We made God in our image so we can be like god,no other thing is close to god like us.We lie to ourselves to make our selves feel more comfrotable and important that we really are.We lie to ourselves when we think we are special!

@PivotalThinking I see this as a cop out. When I consider the endless complexities of nature, the beauties of which we cannot understand, quantum mechanics, the infinitely huge expanses of space and all that the wider world has to offer - I find it offensive and limiting that we should strap that all down as "God's" and conform it's nature to that of ours; saying it's made by a "man" in the sky. Why must there be order to beauty?

@SuperAlaska2011 You guys really confuse me, xD some of you say that nonhuman animals do not have souls, well, i guess your opinions are so unique on these objects that i cant truly understand what everyone thinks on the matter.

Well, one thing we can agree on is the importance of love, although i think we consumers will never know what true love is.

According to Kabbalah, to become an human being is to develope the capacity to influence over our sorroundings (I mean spiritual influence) and to control and administrate right the impulses of our EGO, in other words, is having developed the so called "black spot of the heart" that is the highest level of the heart). @JollSSteR Even animals and plants have souls (energetic fields around) Dont disconsidere any simple thing of this Universe, Everything is part of a Whole Unity and intercomunicated. You are right. We dont have more value than an animal or a plant. I believe we are all equal objects of Love.

@PivotalThinking we are animals. The only thing that makes us special is that we label and categorize things and compute with our brain. No one ever said that animals other than humans can't have Near Death Experiences. People thinking they are special is just a part of the human delusion. We think we are special, because our brain is the most powerful and we live the longest and we're king of the jungle basically.

I think there is life after death cause, i think there is a god somewhere, in what shape i don't know but he exists, i don't think that life came from nowhere it's bullshit it makes no sense. there is always struggle between good and bad, good is always less and Justice will be restored in the otherworld i think. sorry for my bad english

@PivotalThinking Why do you say that with such certainty when you don't know any more than anyone else? You use the demeanour of someone answering questions when you're just creating more questions.

So far there is no evidence that we are anything "more" than animals, our behaviour is in line with what is expected of intelligent social primates

Some books that people wrote to make other people feel better shouldn't be taken so literally.You're afraid of admitting you don't have all the answers

I love how in the description it says "unbiased"

Oh yeah, that's why it made the opinions of all of the medical experts seem irrelevant to the OPINIONS of PATIENTS who were under sedatives, ect.

Unbiased doesn't mean, fits my views perfectly, it means doesn't have a suggestion one way or the other.

I wanna see more people of different beliefs who went through this.

This entire documentary just wreaks of Christianity.
