This is a project I where I animated type using a clip from Dumb & Dumber. I used Adobe After Effects and the Trapcode particular plug in for the ending.

the words are meant to be spelt wrong, because it's dumb and dumber and if you watch the film the credits at the start are all spelt wrong

I LOVE the rising musical notes idea... this is like what a blind man sees when watching these scenes and that prtrays it SO well.

Just wanna say thanks to everyone who commented on this. The response has been overwhelming. Like I said before, I am in no way a motion graphic person. I had to do this for a school project about a year and a half ago. I'm more of a web designer/developer, but I had a blast working on this. I hope this helps inspire people to do more of these. To this day I still think that the Fight Club Chemical Burn is one of the absolute best examples of kinetic typography.

Thanks for all the kind comments. This was my first (and probably last) attempt at one of these kinds of projects. I had a blast working on it. LOVING the movie probably made it easier to work on. Ironically I'm more of a web person, but was assigned this project while in school, so I kinda had to do it. But it did expose me to After Effects, so that's a good thing
