Cwejman VCO-6 with FM input from Doepfer A-111. Both VCOs are fed a S&H LFO signal (no sequencer) via an A-156 Dual quantizer. The VCO-6 output is going to a Cwejman VCEQ-3, which handles a lot of the timbre adjustments. The output is passing through an MX-4S (with some panning from the quad ADSR), then on to a pair of reverbs.

  • great sound, one question:

why did you use 2 vcas (the VCA-4MX and the MX-4S)? wouldn`t this patch work with the MX-4S only?

the VCEQ-3 sounds great, thanks for this good patch, nice inspiration ... keep the good work going!

  • Love this, great baroque patch.

  • 3.22 onwards flicks my switch, then 3.54 on and the harmonics therein bring the 'ahhh' feelings . .

  • If this was a reason 4.0 patch I would pass. This is more like excuse 4.0.

  • I am about to buy a Doepfer modular system and of course I look for interesting videos about it. This one is just splendid and so different from the usual already heard stuff I too often find.

The sound is absolutely beautiful and the corresponding sequence has a very pure curve. I appreciate deeply this example of what one can do with such an instrument !

  • gorgeous

why on earth did you sell this rig? you're so creative with it!

  • Wonderful sounds and quite haunting. Super!

  • OMG that is gorgeous... Mingling, get that crazy two string violin thing out and play this for me again and again until I tell you to stop! Ahhhhhh, that soothes me.... that is fantastic Mingling... did I ever tell you how beautiful you are?

  • @DJPeteJames Hi thanks. As I recall, the Doepfer sine output is going to the Cwejman VCO-6 FM input. You are hearing the VCO-6 (although the A-111 would do just as well in this application). Both oscillators are receiving the same pitch CV. The reverbs are two Doepfer A-199's.

  • very very cool

  • Wow, that is super!
