@SamRichardHall My mistake in the comment, I forgot to stipulate the EU exemption. Personally it's rare these days that I can source the airsoft kit I want without shopping in the US or HK.
@CKinnerley Just to confirm, the importation duties only apply to goods imported from outside the EU. If you can source something from an EU country (infact it only has to be an EFTA country) instead of getting it from the USA or Asia you can avoid the extortionate charges!
@CKinnerley In answer to your question I walked straight through the 'guard post' at the front gates without being stopped - this was quite a while ago mind. I was a young lad at the time, but yes valid point 'nd all that, trespassing on MOD property is very ill advised, all I'm saying is that Honington was hardly a high security affair (several years ago anyway). Even the codes to the various gates were common knowledge to people in the area. Maybe it's changed alot since then?
@SamRichardHall No idea where you're just strolling on, there is a fence all the way around. I wouldn't advise you doing that to be honest if you're not meant to, you're just risking arrest or worse if a patrol spots you, I've done guard duty myself in the past. Not trying to have a go here, just some friendly advice. To answer your question, I've been there about 14 months now, though I'm currently down the Falklands, glad you like the channel.
@CKinnerley RAF Honington is hardly a high security affair! Many a time I've strolled on to the base with no problems what-so-ever :P I used to live just down the road in Troston and had lots of friends living on Woodside View, small world ey! Have you been there long? Great vids by the way mate.
@Branmuffin911 This video was recorded back at my parents' house where I don't often visit. If stalkers want to come and try to break in to the military base where I usually live (with all the armed guards and barbed wire) they're quite welcome. It's called RAF Honington, it's in the county of Suffolk, near to a town called Bury St Edmunds.
@SamRichardHall Heh, yeah it has changed a lot. You'd certainly not walk right through the main gate these days I can assure you.
