Sweden - Albania (4-1) VM Qualification Group 1 || HD || 2009

after a long waiting , and with a sad end ...unfortunately Sweden did not qualified for the Fifa World Cup 2010 in Southafrica !
after losing against Denmark with a single goal and many referee misstakes ,their only change to get a play-off place were to win against Albania which they did , but Malta had to take a point from Portugal so Sweden could take the play-off place ! Portugal won againts Malta and Sweden were out of the game...
But Sweden knew from the beginning that their chances were prety small...

Anyway , Sweden scored 4 goals against 1 and here you have them, with some highlights with zlatan also!
Sweden's headcoach- Lars Lagerbäck ended his career as manager and in this video you'll see a thanking message at the end !

Sweden were very unlucky not to make the World Cup! It's unfortunate for Sweden who always performs admirably in big tournaments and especially the magic that is Ibra will sorely be missed at the world cup..As a neutral, but Ibra fan, I was hoping Sweden would make it through to South Africa..But I guess it wasn't meant to be, I think the next coach should take a look at Sweden's U20 team! On the positive note, Ibra will be fresh for Barca! Afghanistan loves Ibracadabra!
