it's a fact . gun control cant work. if you take the legal right to bear arms by the honest citizens. then the only ones left with the gun's are the cop's and criminals.and the criminals arent stupid. they will know that the rest of us are ripe for the picking.

And New York is one of the most heavily regulated states for gun shows, all gun purchases require background checks which can be done over the phone these days.

I am gun owner, have a carry permit and am a firm believer that you should be proficient in the firearm that you are licensed to carry. Gun control is hitting your target that is the mantra we should be chanting. I personally don't carry until I feel that I am 100% percent accurate on my weapon that is what being a responsible gun owner is. Also pulling my firearm is the LAST thing I would do unless I had no choice, but heaven help you if you think your going to take my guns away.
