Why isn't this verison on DVD?!

Preciosa versión.. ¡Gracias una vez más por compartirla!

I don't feel Renee is sitting there thinking "look at me everyone" as others have indicated on this post. She is quite humble actually and very aware of her flaws. She has freely admitted being booed at La Scala and in other opera houses. She is human, just happens to be beautiful, but I think she cares most about the singing. That being said, I do like Renee a lot, not my #1 by any means and sometimes she sounds redundant, but I don't think she is deserving of some of the criticism here

I think this is one of the best versions! :-)

@arrecotinarrecotan because this scene takes place at Flora's party and at this party Flora invited Matadors and bohemian women to entertain her guests. Check out for the choir of the bohemian it's beautiful!

Letteralmente investita dalla forza del sentimento e dalla voce avvolgente di Renee.
-
why are there matadors in the back?

I have been more moved by other Violettas like Callas, Anna Moffo, Mirella Freni, Beverly Sills, Valerie Masterson and Teresa Stratas. Fleming just seems like she's thinking "watch me everyone!", just obsessed with the beauty of tone but not LIVING the role. A good Violetta has to break your heart, Fleming is too FAKE

She is so beautiful.
Renee Fleming is a great artist. She looks more beautiful then ever. I hope she will continue to sing for a long time.
