Punjab Lok Boli Mela DAWN News coverage

4th Punjab Lok Boli Mela 2008 is held from November 21st to 25th in Jaranwala district Faisalabad. The Significance of the Mela place is the village Bungay near Jaranwala, the birth place of our freedom fighter Shaheed Bhagat Singh. It was planed to be held to mark the 100th anniversary of the Shaheed in 2007and dedicated to Shaheed Bhagat Sing but due to the emergency imposed by the dictator Pervaiz Mushraf in November 2007, it was postponed. The next Mela will be held in Chniot and is dedicated to Baba Kamal Din a traditional story teller. He died few years back.

such a nice meela and residents of punjab arent aware of this beautiful event. Organizers need to promote this event through print and electronic media so that they can get max benefits out of this Meela.
