Another slide show and recording of one of my horns. This one is a Nathan round base M5 that was made in December 1951. Judging from the paint, I'd say there's a good chance this was used on an ACL locomotive at one time. This horn was a total mess when I got it. Corrosion had filled the heads and severely pitted the aluminum so I had to have all 5 heads turned by Mike Muha at the South Bay Horn Works. Also cleaned up all the internals as best I could and slapped her back together. This was recorded by Nick O'Dell at the 2008 Oak Ridge, TN Horn Honk.
