Worst Days Inn, right here in Waynesville North Carolina, Congratulations!

Actually stopped by to get a photo of the three different Days Inn signs / identities, and ended up in a "rats nest". This is the worst I have seen in years. They put the new Days Inn sign up, left the old one, and even had a little homemade sign below... all different colors. Trash everywhere, exposed wiring, broken lamps, bulbs/glass all over... unbelievable. What is going on here??? Is this one of the forgotten Days Inns near Asheville? Somebody ring the alarm. This place is very scary.

... I stayed at this motel in September 2006 while visiting a friend and it was one of the best motels I've ever stayed in. The rooms have a patio from which you get a beautiful view of the mountains. And it's like the motel was new, everything in the room was very clean and modern-looking. It was my first visit to Waynesville and it was by far the best visit with that friend I ever had. I think very highly of Waynesville NC and the surrounding mountains, and I visit several times a year.

I can't believe the people who made this video judge a motel on the basis of things like a broken lamp post. And then to declare it the "Worst Days Inn", when they don't even focus on anything about the motel itself, only what they see on the roadside. I think they're just goofing off and I bet they've never even stayed at this motel before. Look at the bigger picture instead of narrowing your scope to just one aspect. ...

Definitely true there is a bigger picture. Many would not make it past this part here to see the "rest of the story" is the point. The actual hotel on the front side did look nice. You are right, we have never stayed, in a room there.

frightening! i guess they were too busy jumping stumps that they were too tired afterwards to clean up around the hotel ...accent on the 'ho. that is disgusting! And NC is actually a very beautiful state. except here. wow.
