He's a bengal cat and has some "wild" instincts so I don't let him roam outside for fear of him not returning. Also, we have coyotes and other beasts in the neighborhood, too dangerous for him. I take him out for walks and stake him out with the bassets in their fenced area. Sometimes I let him roam dragging around his chord attached to his tent stake so I can grab him if need be. It's a dog harness. He loves it.
