There you go this is typically the US propaganda, trying to compare Putin to Hitler with the nationalism and youth camps. (Im not anti-american at all. but im just putting this out there). But look att all the american provocations installing missiles close to Russia. Inviting the idea of a new cold war. And that Russia is "bullying" that´s a joke, the russians aren´t the ones that "helps" out countries by invading them and stealing their oil.

@meProudToBeCaucasian Actually, its more like 75-80% of the Wehrmacht that Russia defeated. You are correct that Japan was no match for them since they had inferior tanks and inexperienced troops in Mongolia. But how could the Russians invade Japan without a large navy with landing craft and amphibious vehicles like we had? Without such assets, they wouldn't be able to successfully invade Japan and end the war.

90% of the whermacht was lost in the east, japan actually tried to fight russia much earlier, they invaded mongolia but failed as russia supported mongols and defeated japanese, the japanese lost also badly in korea to the red army.

@elarrebat so capturing sadam wasnt a part of our intende goals?..i agree we shouldnt have entered iraq but thats an argument for another day, but to say we didnt achieve any of our intended goals in iraq is complete asinine!

@Doefella718 Yeah, but we did not achieve anything in Irak except for ruining the country and leaving the Middle East for Iran to control. And about Afghanistan there is no clear achievable objective in the long run. The only fight in which we can claim some victory is in dismanteling the old Al Quaeda structure and we only needed a limited operation in Afghanistan to achieve it, not a decade long war. Yes, we can win two wars at the same time but we have to choose carefully first.

@TheDiego2208 Best Commander in Chief? Hello! He blunder the opportunity to take Osama alive in 2001 and we are still fighting in Afghanistan. He absurdly and illegally ordered the invasion of Irak for WMD's that were never there, killing tens of thousands in the process and achieving nothing. If that is your idea of Best Commander in Chief, good luck in your fantasy world. Here on earth we considered that pure bullshit.

@feeuqretsam Response: No, the U.S. did not deny andy resources to Russia and did not threaten Russia with missiles. On the other hand, Yeltsin, during the Kosovo conflict threatend the US and NATO with a possible WW III if ground troops were to be deployed. V. Putin had to excuse Yelsins remarks later, but not because he didn't like the tone.
